Responsibilities

  • Develop long-range objectives and strategic plans for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
  • Identifyinternalandexternalstrategicissuesthatcouldaffectoverallcost,scheduleand technical
  • DevelopIntegratedMasterSchedulefor highprofileprojectswithCongressionaloversightand reportson schedulemilestonesusingMS Project
  • Participate and lead schedule discussions and reporting
  • Develop and monitor program activities, milestones and reports
  • Implement and maintain strategic and operational
  • Plan and coordinate business reviews, resource allocations, and organization structures
  • Assist in contract evaluation process as a technical advisor; including evaluation write-up
  • Develop and assist in contract transition from planning to implementation
  • Developandassist inProgramManagementOrganizationstand-upfromplanningto implementation
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Develop Program Management Plans (PMPs)
  • Oversee and manage or support aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Review status of projects and budgets, classifies and summarizes data for the preparation and submission of status reports on a recurring basis.
  • Perform life cycle cost analyses, cost benefit or economic evaluations of current or projected programs.
  • Support the development, execution and reporting of logistics and provisioning plans for programs, including sparing and stocking strategies, inventory control and tracking, logistics CDRLs and deliverable or asset tracking.
  • Assess project issues and develops or tracks resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate and advise on the organization, methods, and procedures for providing administrative support systems such as records, communications, directives, forms, files and documentation.
  • Develop new or modified administrative program policies, regulations, goals, or objectives.
  • Identify data required for use in the management and direction of programs.
  • Develop management and/or program evaluation plans, procedures and methodology.
  • Provide planning, scheduling, networking and coordination assistance to program management personnel.
  • Duties require frequent application of techniques such as statistical charting, organizational structure, contract, budget, fiscal control, and office management.
  • Specific expertise may be required in:
    • Configuration management
    • Earned Value Management
    • Financial management
    • Cost estimation
    • Risk management

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience of relate experience
  • PMP preferred

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a related field is required
