  • Develop long-range objectives and strategic plans for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
  • Identify internal and external strategic issues that could affect overall cost
  • Develop Integrated Master Schedule for high profile projects with Congressional oversight and reports on schedule milestones using MS Project
  • Participate and lead scheduled discussions and reporting
  • Develop and monitor program activities, milestones, and reports
  • Plan and coordinate business reviews, resource allocations, and organization structures
  • Assist in contract evaluation process as a technical advisor (including evaluation write-ups)
  • Develop and assist in contract transition from planning to implementation
  • Develop and assist in Program Management Organization stand-up from planning to implementation
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Develop Program Management Plans (PMPs)
  • Oversee and manage or support aspects of ongoing projects and serve as a liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Review status of projects and budgets.
  • Classify and summarize data for the preparation and submission of status reports on a recurring basis.
  • Perform life cycle cost analyses, cost benefit, or economic evaluations of current or projected programs.
  • Support the development, execution, reporting of logistics, and provisioning plans for programs. This includes sparing and stocking strategies, inventory control and tracking, logistics CDRLs, and deliverable or asset tracking.
  • Assess project issues and develop or track resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate and advise on the organization, methods, and procedures for providing administrative support systems such as records, communications, directives, forms, files, and documentation.
  • Develop new or modified administrative program policies, regulations, goals, or objectives.
  • Identify data required for use in the management and direction of programs.
  • Develop management and/or program evaluation plans, procedures, and methodology.
  • Provide planning, scheduling, networking, and coordination assistance to program management personnel.


  • At least 2 years of relatable experience
  • PMP preferred
  • Duties require frequent application of techniques such as statistical charting, organizational structure, contract, budget, fiscal control, and office management.
  • Specific expertise may be required in:
    • Configuration management
    • Earned Value Management
    • Financial management
    • Cost estimation
    • Risk management


  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a related field is required
