Administrative Telecommunications Lead Analyst

This candidate will provide support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Enterprise Services, Communications, Infrastructure, and Network Programs Group in Washington, DC.  LST is seeking an experienced lead analyst to work with the FAA's Administrative Telecommunications programs.   The program area provide FAA employees a wide array of telecommunications services ranging from mission support services and administrative telecommunications services.  The candidate will also provide leadership to the LST team and point of contact to the FAA for all the LST contract support which includes a geographically dispersed workforce.

 Job duties may include some or all of the following:

  • Planning for the inclusion of telecommunications users into Mission Support and administrative telco networks
  • Planning and optimization of networks and services
  • Customer outreach to determine the general needs of customers
  • Conversion of general needs to specific telecommunications requirements through analysis and application characterization
  • Requirements document preparation
  • Process evaluation and improvement
  • Performance analysis in comparison to contract requirements and SLAs
  • Perform integrated program reporting activities to include collection and integration of data related to program and project technical and level status
  • Support directive and policy development
  • Conference and meeting coordination to include scheduling, presentation assembly, meeting logistics coordination, meeting minutes preparation and coordination, action item tracking
  • Drafting Telecommunications Requests
  • Task management of LST contract support to the FAA.

 Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of 11+ years experience in telecommunications industry.   
  • Proven experience in leading teams of professional employees while successfully interfacing with and meeting customer goals
  • Knowledge of federal government telecommunications contracts is preferred
  • Ability to multi-task, handle a high-paced work environment, and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
  • Excellent writing, oral communication, and organizational skills.
  • Applicants must possess or meet eligibility requirements for passing a background check. US citizenship is required.

Education

  • Total required relevant experience must be at least 11 years. Must have a high school degree.
